Rev. Sch. Danil Nalpat CMI (27), a member of our Province (First Year Theology at Dharmaram) was called to his eternal reward in a road accident at Yelanhanka, Bengaluru, around 10:00 am on Wednesday, 25 December 2024. Requiem mass was celebrated in the Dharmaram College on 25th Night and the mortal remains was brought to his house at Koratty on 26th morning and later at 3:00 pm the funeral was held at Christ the King Monastery, Karukutty. Rev Fr Prior General conducted the first part of the funeral service. Fr Benny Nalkara, Provincial, Conducted the second part and Fr Josey Thamarassery, Vicar General was the Main Celebrant and Fr Peter Kochalumkal, Master, gave the eulogy. The Final Part of the funeral service was led by His Grace Mar Antony Kariyil CMI. Sch. Danil was a man of prayer, friendship and had a good organizing capacity as he was serving as the LCA Secretary at Dharmaram. His demise was a great loss for the CMI Congregation and his family.
